Draft · Not final
Privacy policy
This is a review draft for an app that is still in development. It describes the current project documentation and is not a finalized privacy notice.
The team must confirm the data controller and contact address, retention periods, deletion process, children’s privacy approach, training-data practices, and final service configuration.
Camera practice
Camera frames used for sign recognition are processed on the phone and are not uploaded for scoring. Posting a photo or video to the community is a separate action that uploads that content.
Accounts and online features
Project documentation identifies email addresses and display names used through Firebase Authentication; profile information, posts, comments, chat, and uploaded media; learning progress backed up to Firestore; device push tokens; and notification preferences. Media storage uses Cloudflare R2.
Crash reports
The documented Firebase Crashlytics configuration sends stack traces, device model, Android version, app version, and an anonymous Firebase installation identifier. The documentation states that account IDs, names, and emails are not attached. The final release configuration must be checked before publication.
Training data
Training clips may be collected through an administrator workflow that records a consent confirmation. The team must confirm the scope of that consent, retention, removal requests, and whether community content may be used for training. No permission for such reuse is established by this draft.
Deletion and privacy requests
Unresolved: publish the exact in-app account-deletion steps, administrator request process, contact address, retention periods, and what deletion covers in backups and uploaded content.
Children and young learners
Unresolved: the team must establish the intended age range and applicable consent and privacy practices before launch.
This website
This preview has no analytics, advertising, forms, or account system. A theme preference may be stored locally in your browser. The planned GitHub Pages host logs visitor IP addresses for security; the final notice must identify the actual hosting and download services used at launch.
