Terms of use

These terms are a review draft for Kinetix FSL. They have not been finalized or adopted for a public release.

A learning companion

Kinetix FSL is designed to support Filipino Sign Language learning and practice. It does not replace instruction from FSL teachers, professional interpretation, or learning with the Deaf community. Recognition results may be inaccurate and must not be relied on for emergencies or other critical communication.

Development status

The app is in development. Features, lesson content, recognition coverage, and release requirements may change. A launch date and downloadable release have not been announced on this website.

Accounts and community conduct

The proposed community rules require respectful participation and prohibit harassment, impersonation, harmful content, and posting material without the necessary rights or consent. Specific rules and reporting procedures must be finalized before launch.

Your uploads

Users should only upload media they have the right to share and obtain appropriate consent from people appearing in it. The permissions needed to store, display, moderate, or otherwise use uploaded content must be explicitly defined in the final terms. This draft does not grant a training-data license.

Moderation

Project documentation describes reports, time penalties, and disabling accounts with a reason shown. The final terms must explain enforcement, appeals, and how users can contact the team.

Availability and changes

Offline and online features have different requirements. Online services depend on connectivity and service availability. The team must document its final update and support practices before release.

Unresolved legal details

Responsible operator, eligibility, applicable terms, liability provisions, dispute process, account termination, public contact, and effective date remain to be reviewed and completed.
